This is Vorland (Vor for short) - His name is the Dutch word for “Fate” He is a huge goof-ball with a huge-heart. I found him after a particularly bad ice storm, he was in a ditch, covered in wounds and a few BB bullet injuries and weighed about 28lbs. Now he is a healthy 56lbs and is on his way to earning his CGC (canine good citizenship award).

Yesterday my mom posted a picture on Facebook of my 5 year old brother Sam wearing a pair of shoes he picked out for his first day of preschool.
She explained to him in the store that they were really made for girls. Sam then told her that he didn’t care and that “ninjas can wear pink shoes too.”
Sam went to preschool and got several compliments on his new shoes. Not one kid...
